About The Reviewers

The Reviewers has been set up as a thank you to NetGalley for accepting me as a member and for sending me e books to review 🙂

“NetGalley helps influential readers discover and recommend new books to their audiences. If you are a reviewer, blogger, librarian, bookseller, educator, journalist or other member of the media, you can use NetGalley for free to request, read, and recommend books before they are published.”

Who is behind The Reviewers?

The Reviewers.co.uk was originally registered by Terry Simmonds in about 2012
It was originally going to be a generic reviews site, nothing ever really materialised and the site has just been left on the backburners for the past 5 or 6 years.

Having joined NetGalley I decided it was the perfect reason to start up the site again 🙂

About Terry Simmonds

Terry isn’t your typical book reviewer, he has nothing to do with book publishing, isn’t qualified in anyway to review or have an opinion on books but is an ex non reader who suddenly discovered that reading is fun.

Having gone 25+ years of barely picking a book up he found an old childhood The Famous Five book, read it, bought more, became hooked on reading and now reads at least 2 books a week.

Favourite authors range from Mary Wesley, Harlan Coben, Steve Cavanagh, Gregg Hurwitz, Joanne Harris and despite what others think Enid Blyton.

If I could only keep one book: Five Fall Into Adventure – Enid Blyton

Only Reviewing Books I receive from NetGalley

Rather than reviewing books I’ve previously read and books I obtain from elsewhere I’ve decided I will only use this website for reviewing the books NetGalley send me (assuming I get more).
