What is NetGalley and How Do You Become a NetGalley Member?
“NetGalley helps influential readers discover and recommend new books to their audiences. If you are a reviewer, blogger, librarian, bookseller, educator, journalist or other member of the media, you can use NetGalley for free to request, read, and recommend books before they are published.”

I wouldn’t really describe myself as an influencer, as an SEO a lot of what I do is hidden below the scenes and I tend to try to stay below the radar.
To be honest, I still don’t know a great deal about NetGalley or how it works, I’ve only been a member about a week and initially didn’t know how it worked, that was until 2 days ago and a book I requested had been approved 🙂
About Terry Simmonds
Terry isn’t your typical book reviewer, he has nothing to do with book publishing, isn’t qualified in anyway to review or have an opinion on books but is an ex non reader who suddenly discovered that reading is fun.
Having gone 25+ years of barely picking a book up he found an old childhood The Famous Five book, read it, bought more, became hooked on reading and now reads at least 2 books a week.
Favourite authors range from Mary Wesley, Harlan Coben, Steve Cavanagh, Gregg Hurwitz, Joanne Harris and despite what others think Enid Blyton.
If I could only keep one book: Five Fall Into Adventure – Enid Blyton
